CFO Job Summary: The EHS Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs at Reliable Tire Disposal. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility among plant employees. Key Responsibilities: Safety Compliance:

Ensure the plant complies with all relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices, such as OSHA, EPA, and local regulations. Safety Training:

Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, including new hires and ongoing refresher courses. Incident Response:

Lead and coordinate the response to workplace incidents, accidents, or near misses, including conducting investigations, reporting, and implementing corrective actions. Risk Assessments:

Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental risks. Emergency Preparedness:

Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies. Environmental Compliance:

Ensure the plant complies with all environmental regulations and actively seeks opportunities for sustainability and environmental improvements. Waste Management:

Manage the proper disposal of waste materials generated by the recycling process, including used tires and other hazardous materials. Safety Audits and Inspections:

Conduct regular safety and environmental inspections, audits, and assessments to identify non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions. Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of safety and environmental incidents, training, audits, and compliance documentation. Safety Culture:

Promote a strong safety culture by organizing safety committees, promoting safety awareness, and recognizing and rewarding safe behaviors. Regulatory Liaison:

Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies, ensuring that permits and reporting requirements are met. Continuous Improvement:

Identify areas for improvement in safety and environmental performance and implement appropriate measures. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Certification in safety or environmental management (e.g., CSP, CIH, or CHMM) is a plus. Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and standards. Experience in a similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in the recycling industry. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Physical Requirements: The EHS Coordinator may be required to perform inspections and work on the plant floor, which may involve physical exertion and exposure to various environmental conditions.
