Townsen Memorial Surgery Center is looking for a full-time Radiology Technologist for our facility in Kingwood,TX. This candidate will be responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality diagnostic image is produced. Working closely with radiologists and physicians, this candidate will also operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment under direction of the physician.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Set up and operate radiographic equipment used in the medical diagnosis and/or treatment of patients
  • Select proper ionizing factors for radiologic diagnosis
  • Positions patient and set up and adjust equipment to obtain the best quality x-ray of the specific body area requested by the physician
  • Implements infection control procedures for the work area
  • Maintains sterile field and implements best practices while in the operating room
  • Checks X-ray for clarity of image, and retakes X-rays when needed
  • Maintains quantity and quality control checks to assure X-ray unit meets standards required by laws, rules, and facility policy
  • Performs radiographic procedures for patients in surgery
  • Cleans, maintains, and makes minor adjustments to radiographic equipment, including determining repairs needed of equipment
  • Assures that all materials and other required equipment, are present and in working order
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Our hospital is subject to the CMS vaccine mandate. You must be fully vaccinated before you may begin employment with us. While our company currently does not have a vaccine mandate, we're obligated to enforce any applicable mandates under federal law.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology
  • ARRT/ TMB licenses
  • Ortho/Spine Experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to lift and position patients for the type of X-ray procedure required
  • Ability to clean, maintain, and make minor adjustments to equipment
