We are seeking a System Engineer, Senior Advisor to join our team. Your primary responsibility is to support the deployment of systems and capabilities centered on our comprehensive ROI product software suite. The System Engineer Senior Advisor will focus on the operations, maintenance, and deployment of the program's technical vision.TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, reading log files, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing incidents, and assessing the impact of issues.Perform new server deployments, email migrations, cloud migrations, and network infrastructure maintenance.Proactively monitor network traffic and system performance; Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to achieve optimal efficiency and reliability.Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.Recommend and integrate system alerts and notification processes to minimize downtime.Execute policies and standards, as they relate to IT systems, network security and protocolsProvide comprehensive solutions for managing server, storage, and network devicesDevelop scripts (PowerShell, Batch, etc.) to perform recurring systems administration tasks, automate installs, gather metrics, etc.Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinates installation and provide backup recovery.Create and maintain detailed system documentation.SKILLS|EXPERIENCE:10+ years' experience in information technology including 5 years' experience supporting complex business information technology environments.Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, GPO policies, PowerShell Scripting, and deployment.Extensive experience working in virtual environments.Experience with SQL scripting and database security best practices.Ability to analyze complex problems to interpret technical needs (based on operational goals), and develop integrated, creative solutions.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working with load balancing and clustering technologies.Microsoft Windows Server services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, SMB Shares, etc.LAN, WAN, and WLAN support, including concepts and experience with IPv4, DNS, DHCP, MAC Addresses, VLANs, etc.
