JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The FP&A Analyst plays a key role in financial planning and analysis activities. Uses comprehensive analysis to develop insights that guide forecasts, budgets, and investments. Provides supports to leaders with accurate reporting, accurate risk assessment and functioning as a subject-matter expert for financial questions and projects requiring strong problem-solving and analytic skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Responsibilities
  • Performs financial analyses that identify trends and recommendations to empower leadership with decision making and achieving goals
  • Produces financial reports, including, annual, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports
  • Acts as a resource for departments on transactional inquiries and questions that require problem-solving and analytic capability, meeting with department heads to review and discuss risks
  • Analyzes and reviews cost estimates including technical data, cost estimating methods, and assumptions submitted by departments for completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of financial KPIs
  • Forecasts P&L accounts, including: Cost of Goods Sold, SG&A, Headcount
  • Manages CAPEX Forecast and Review to ensure alignment with business priorities and strategies
  • Leads the Investment Proposal process and build models to calculate NPV, Payback, ROI
  • Assists with the annual budget process and multi-year forecasts
  • Examines budgets for completeness, accuracy and conformance with established procedures;
  • Coordinates closely with Accounting to drive accuracy and thoroughness of reporting
  • Drives continuous improvement while building internal processes and increase business efficiencies

  • May be required to travel up to 10% of the time
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in the use of common office equipment and software
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills (forecasting, trending, economic feasibility, profitability analysis, budgeting) and ability to turn insights into sound recommendations
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Shows careful attention to detail
  • Effectively manages multiple tasks and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively and proactively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze moderately difficult to complex financial issues, draw conclusions based on analysis and recommend alternative solutions
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, effectively collaborating with internal teams and event organizers
Education, Certification/License & Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required
  • 3-5 years of related work experience in FP&A or other, related business analysis; preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Prior work experience with SAP and Analysis for Office, Microsoft PowerBI, SAC preferred
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation
  • Base:$71,000to $97,000annually, based on specific compensable factors including, but not limited to education, work experience, and geographic market.
  • Bonus: This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company's performance and their own individual performance.
