Salary Range: $100K - $150K

Our client, an innovative local manufacturer cleaning equipment that focuses on tackling the toughest cleaning challenges, is seeking a strong, traditional engineer to support New Product Developmentin a Lead Mechanical Engineer capacity within their growing organization. This role is a chance to learn their industry, development/design processes, and will develop to be tasked with connecting the Engineering department with client interaction for Sales, Marketing, Product Application Development as well as Legal and Finance. This opportunity is full time with our client in Hamilton, OH.

The preference is for a degreed Mechanical Engineer that has experience in working for a smaller manufacturing company and has ability to work from new device or product levels as well as client interaction in application development; ability to problem solve mechanical design issues; with good CAD/3D skills (SolidWorks and CREO); can supervise CAD designers; check for maneuverability, design accuracy, as well as interact with vendors and the manufacturing teams/all levels from concept to functioning product as well as testing.

Talent must offer the ability to effectively interact with customers in developing new product, applications and solutions the customer is envisioning. Requires talent with conceptual product design preference with curiosity to develop new applications of plastic injection molded cleaning products using potentially existing parts from other products. Rapid prototyping skills, design engineering skills, SolidWorks capability and engineering skills that apply physics are also required. After understanding manufacturing, parts and product line, will be responsible to design for optimum use of existing parts to lower product manufacturing.
