Chief Financial Officer

Company Overview:
My client has a strong commitment to innovation and excellence, and is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our dynamic team. This position will report directly to the President and play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategy of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for:
Providing strategic financial leadership and partnering with the Divisional President to drive business performance.
Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes to support divisional goals.
Leading financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, particularly in logistics and manufacturing, to ensure financial alignment with operational objectives.
Utilizing business acumen and implementing processes such as LEAN or Six Sigma to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
Presenting financial insights and recommendations to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Proven experience in a corporate leadership role supporting logistics and/or manufacturing operations.
Strong financial acumen with a track record of implementing effective financial strategies.
Familiarity with operational efficiency methodologies such as LEAN or Six Sigma.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
Strategic thinking and the ability to act as a key business partner to divisional leadership.
Demonstrated success in leading financial planning and analysis processes.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
Previous experience presenting to boards and executive committees.
Onsite presence required approximately 5 days a week with travel to sites.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and regular interactions with divisional leadership.
