JOIN US SymphonyAI Retail CPG has a new position for a Demand Forecaster with Data Science skills to join its talented team and help customers get the best out of our innovative Demand Forecast AI tool This role is hybrid role and looking for candidate to reside in Atlanta, GA. The Demand Forecast Data Scientist helps customers with a state-of-the-art operational forecast that allows customers to optimize their supply chain. This role will be part of a team that works very closely with key stakeholders at the customer (client forecasters) and will help capture

future commercial event/information that will provide the best possible forecast using the SymphonyAI Retail DFAI (Demand Forecast AI) solution. The DFAI Forecaster will advise customers on best practices, will continuously research to improve forecasting process and become a true customer advocate internally when working with internal colleagues to proposeapplication enhancements.

Job Description

What You’ll Do: Generate and deliver accordingly (on-time and on-date) to customers’ contract and operational forecast using the DFAI application. Document and analyze weekly performance of the forecast Identify areas for improvements Propose and test potential ways to improve customer forecast Test and maintain the best possible configuration of the DFAI application Adjust the configuration of the DFAI application to ensure that it meets customer commercial plans and needs Lead weekly performance reviews of his forecast with the customer Participate actively in customer continuous improvement efforts / meetings Support the customer - including answering questions about using the application and its configuration Become the customer advocate with other SRAI internal team (R&D) Become expert on how the customer uses the tool and customer processes Provide advice to customers on forecasting best practices What You Need: Ideal candidates will have good technical knowledge covering Tableau / Docker and will be at ease using Linux, Juniper, Python Effective Communication skills Proven planning and organization skills Experience in retail forecasting and replenishment - ideally with some customer relationship management experience as well Collaborative work ethic Genuine customer focus, passion for improvement and innovation Experience of SymphonyAI Retail solutions and / or an understanding of the functionalities of: SymphonyAI Retail GWR / extractor/Stormbase or DFAI would be a huge plus
