Position Purpose
The Alumni and Events Student Worker will assist the Senior Director of Events and Alumni Engagement and the Alumni and Event Coordinators in supporting various alumni relations activities, database management, and pre and post-event functions.
The selected candidate will provide assistance in researching alumni, gathering information for multiple events, assisting on-site at various engagements, collecting content for social media, and cultivating positive relationships with campus members.
Must be available to work weekday shifts, also weekends and evenings. The position will be reviewed each semester.
Education & Formal Training
High school diploma or equivalent
Computer Skills
Word-Processing, Spreadsheet, Presentation
Experience
Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail; an aptitude for web tools and learning new platforms' user interface; ability to approach problems with creativity, insight, and resourcefulness; ability to work both independently and cooperatively with staff; strong customer service and verbal and written communication skills.
First preference to federal work study eligible.
