Job Summary: The Room Attendant at The Sheraton Palo Alto is responsible for maintaining clean and well-stocked guest rooms and public areas in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will contribute to the overall guest experience by ensuring a high level of cleanliness and comfort for each guest during their stay. This position is a full-time, salary role and will report to the Housekeeping Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $22 per hour, paid biweekly

Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established standards and guidelines
- Change linens, make beds, and restock amenities in a timely fashion
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures and surfaces
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop guest rooms and public areas
- Report any maintenance issues or guest complaints to appropriate department
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with guests
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and guest satisfaction

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior housekeeping experience in a hospitality setting is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime if needed
