  • Forecasting annual effective tax rate and recording quarterly tax provision in accordance with ASC 740-270
  • Calculating annual tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
  • Managing tax provision workflow
  • Preparing quarterly and annual SEC disclosures, including income tax footnote and other tax disclosures
  • Assisting with the tax compliance process and filing obligations, working with external service providers
  • Supporting other compliance processes, including tax information reporting and withholding as needed
  • Responding to federal, state, local, and foreign tax inquiries and audits

Requirements and Skills
  • Bachelor's or higher in Accounting. MST and/or CPA desired but not required.
  • 3+ years of corporate and/or partnership tax compliance and provision experience. Individual and trusts tax may be in scope as needed.
  • Interest in integrating technology solutions to streamline processes
  • Team oriented, but also able to work independently
  • Desire to work in dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
