BIM Modeler

We are in search of a skilled BIM Modeler to join our esteemed residential construction team based in Long Summit, NJ. The preferred candidate should be proficient in both AutoCAD and Revit to facilitate the creation of fully coordinated shop drawings for our residential construction projects.

This role involves serving as a model coordinator for Revit modeling and overseeing the utilization of the model to generate accurate fabrication and construction drawings for structural, mechanical systems, and millwork. Coordination and integration of AutoCAD drawings and trade models across various trades will be essential to produce a comprehensive set of construction and installation drawings.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating with digital scanning providers.

• Developing master models for use by trades.
• Distributing and coordinating the model among trade modelers.
• Resolving model interferences and clashes and coordinating models with AutoCAD shop drawings
• Drafting in AutoCAD and Managing documents
• Liaising with vendors, suppliers, designers, and contractors to coordinate drawings.
• Performing final checks and distributing fully coordinated installation drawings.
• Procuring and organizing final as-built document sets.
