The Daily News of Robinson and Daily Record of Lawrenceville is searching for a Local Advertising Specialist to increase the market share of our print and digital publications as we expand our reach into new communities. Our Local Advertising Specialists partner with local businesses to provide total audience advertising solutions utilizing a diverse portfolio of products including newspapers, local media websites, email marketing, promotions, event marketing and targeted digital advertising. We are looking for an ambitious and energetic sales executive who is hard-working, competitive and possesses a positive attitude. You will have the opportunity to manage and grow a local account base as well as develop new business. You’ll be expected to source for leads, research, present and close sales, in-person and on the phone. An affinity for networking within the community is an asset. Prior success in exceeding sales goals in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment is essential, as are strong organizational and communication skills. • Proven outside Business to Business sales experience preferred. • Some knowledge of advertising is a plus. • Strong time management and communication skills. • Aggressive and relentless in prospecting for new business and skilled at needs assessment-based selling. • Consistent in follow up and commitments to prospects and customers.
