Role Overview:

As a Charity Customer Service Representative, you will be the frontline connection between our clients and the charitable organizations we support. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential donors, provide information about our partner charities, and ensure a positive experience for all who interact with us. You will play a crucial role in driving donations and fostering long-term relationships with supporters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Donor Engagement: Connect with potential donors through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and other communication channels to share information about our partner charities.
  • Customer Support: Provide excellent customer service by addressing donor inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless donation process.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive relationships with donors, fostering long-term engagement and support for our charity partners.
  • Fundraising Assistance: Assist in organizing and supporting fundraising events and campaigns, helping to maximize donations and raise awareness for charitable causes.
  • Data Management: Accurately record and maintain donor information, ensuring all interactions are documented and followed up appropriately.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the customer service and fundraising teams to achieve collective goals and support the overall mission of our partner charities.
Qualifications:
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Passion for Charity: A genuine interest in charitable work and a desire to contribute to meaningful causes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Empathy and Compassion: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with donors and understand their motivations.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a timely manner.
  • Team Player: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
