Job Description:

As the Industrial Manufacturing Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing a diverse portfolio of projects within our client's manufacturing environment. Leveraging your extensive operational and engineering project management experience, you will play a pivotal role in delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes, while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resource allocation, and risk assessment, to guide successful project execution.
  • Budget Management: Efficiently manage project budgets, ensuring cost control measures are in place while delivering value and meeting project objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among diverse teams, including engineering, operations, procurement, and quality assurance, to achieve project milestones.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful delivery.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality requirements, maintaining the highest level of product integrity.
  • Project Reporting: Regularly provide project status updates to key stakeholders, highlighting progress, challenges, and any necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance project management processes and overall operational efficiency.
  • Change Management: Effectively manage change requests and assess their impact on project scope, cost, and timeline, while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services that meet quality standards.
Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • 10+ years of operational or engineering project management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of experience with capital equipment implementation
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
