Urgent Care Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Cardiology Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role features 13-hour shifts, with a rotating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. The ideal candidate will have experience in a critical care cardiac ICU setting and a strong background in advanced cardiac life support. Job Details Location: Pennsylvania Start Date: Dec 1, 2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Cardiology Critical Care Physician Assistant Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays; must be flexible regarding days worked; no guaranteed hours; shifts are 13 hours each Responsibilities and Duties Manage HVI CCU patients under the guidance of an Intensivist Conduct daily patient rounding and management Enter orders, manage admissions, and oversee post-operative care Perform procedures such as arterial lines, central lines, swan ganz catheter insertion, and IABP removal Manage advanced cardiac support including VA & VV ECMO, Impella, LVAD, and cardiac transplant cases Additional Information Must have a current Pennsylvania Physician Assistant license Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) Board certification in Critical Care Medicine required Previous experience in a critical care cardiac ICU is essential Flexibility with scheduling is necessary to meet patient care needs Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
