Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor the organization's storage infrastructure, including storage arrays, SANs, NAS systems, and cloud-based storage solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches to ensure optimal performance and security of the storage environment.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to understand and address storage requirements for various applications, databases, and systems.
  • Design and implement storage solutions to accommodate data growth & optimize storage utilization.
  • Troubleshoot & resolve storage-related issues, working with vendors & technical support as needed.
  • Implement and enforce data storage policies, including backup, retention, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Conduct performance analysis and capacity planning to proactively address storage bottlenecks and scalability concerns.
  • Monitor storage trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to the storage infrastructure.
  • Document storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and reference.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support and incident response.
