MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services. Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient. What You Can Expect: This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below Non-Traditional Emergency Medicine Opportunities Direct patient care from our Emergency Medicine Physicians Observation Units staffed by our hospitalist teams Differential pay for physicians working all nights or all weekends Collaborative mixed-specialty department, comprised of emergency medicine, family medicine, and hospitalist physicians working together and learning from each other 8-10 hour shifts Advanced Urgent Care or Urgent Care settings Limited overnight coverage No Behavioral Health Observation Minimum Requirements: MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia Work visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants MAPMG Physicians: Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care Communicate thoughtfully (listen, educate, advocate) Lead with integrity Value teamwork Are transparent and honest Go above and beyond for their patients We Provide You: Competitive compensation Pathway for physicians to become shareholders of MAPMG Comprehensive benefits including 100% employer-funded medical and dental insurance premiums, a pension plan and 401(k), life insurance, and paid leave Complete professional liability coverage provided at no cost, 100% reimbursement for obtaining and maintaining board certification, continuing medical education reimbursement, and in-house CME opportunities The starting annual salary for this position is $296,000 which considers an applicants skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
