We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Administrator to join our existing HR team. Responsible for identifying and responding to recruitment requests in an organised and effective manner, being a team player with the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a recruitment capacity. Managing vacancies from the initial point of contact with the Hiring Manager, obtaining relevant internal approvals, producing and publishing adverts across different media publications and assisting in the onboarding process.

In addition to this, being an essential part of the HR team, you will also deal with general HR queries and provide administrative support to the wider HR team. Main tasks & responsibilities

Responding to recruitment requests:

Build strong and effective relationships with the hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and provide guidance on recruitment best practice.

Creating & advertising vacancies using our internal hiring page and ATS. Posting to social media platforms and sourcing CVs through indeed to increase the candidate pool.

Screening candidates in-line with job role requirements and Slicker values, to identify top candidates. Co-ordinating second stage interviews with hiring managers.

Ensuring appropriate and timely communication to candidates and hiring managers at all stages of the recruitment process.

Support recruitment activities e.g. identifying and attending job fairs/career events, liaising with colleges and universities.

Work with recruitment agencies with the aim of establishing a preferred supplier list with favourable rates that can be utilised when required.

Focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding, positioning Slicker Recycling as an employer of choice, positively promoting the employer brand at all times.

Onboarding:

Follow checks to meet regulatory standards (e.g., Reference checking, DBS checking, RTW checks, Training Checks and Gaps in employment checks etc)

Coaching new colleagues through the online HR platform, to ensure personal record is completed during onboarding

Co-ordinate induction records and probation reviews with line managers

During quieter periods of recruitment, providing generalist HR administrative support to the wider HR Team and Line Managers in the business, and supporting ad hoc HR projects.

Essential skills & experience

Strong background in resourcing / recruitment is essential, with excellent knowledge of recruitment practices and processes

Demonstrable experience of actively sourcing and headhunting both passive and active candidates for a variety of vacancies and skill sets

Experience in HR/ Administrative background

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Proficient in using a wide variety of software including HR systems and MS Office applications and have an understanding of GDPR and Employment regulations and legislation.

Excellent organisational skills and able to work to deadlines.
