Requirements for the role Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Masters degree or EIT (Engineer-in-Training) certification may be advantageous. Internship or co-op experience in civil engineering or related fields is a plus. Fundamental knowledge of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis, construction, and design. Proficiency with industry-standard design and analysis software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar. Understanding of relevant building codes, regulations, and compliance standards. Ability to assist in the planning, design, and oversight of construction projects. Basic experience in conducting site inspections and surveys to gather data for engineering projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Excellent organizational and project management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
