POSITION TITLE: I&E Recruiter

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary DOE + bonus

BENEFITS: Standard package

LOCATION: Baton Rouge, LA

SUMMARY: The I&E Recruiter is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Management in supporting the company. This position carries out responsibility in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment.

Duties Or Responsibilities

Maintains contact with possible construction hands. Builds database of qualified applicants, screens, and vets’ possible employees Onboarding, training, and Background/Drug Screening, Badge Requests, as required for site facility entry. New hires-Requisition to on job site- 5-7 working days. Rehires-Requisition to on job site- 3-5 working days. I-9 -E-Verify-within 3 days of hire date. Employee documents-uploaded within 3 days of hire date Documents to payroll-No more than 1 business day. Scan/upload employee records in employee files Upload medical records in employee medical files. Send proper new hire documentation to Payroll on hire date. Complete I-9 and E-Verify

Experience And Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience and I & E Recruiter in the Construction industry. Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite- Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines. Excellent organizational and time management skills Current knowledge of federal, state, and local employment and labor laws Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills Professional appearance / Business casual Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws. Demonstrates attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to always maintain confidentiality.
