Registered Nurse - Addictions Recovery Center 6725 Apply for the Registered Nurse Addictions Recovery Center 6725 role at Meridian Health. We are seeking a full?time Registered Nurse to provide services in our Residential Substance Use Program located in Lafayette, Indiana. Some travel, up to 10?%, may be necessary. Key Responsibilities Respond to residents medication concerns and consult with medical staff to adjust regimens. Phone in prescription orders to pharmacies as directed. Review lab and test results, reporting concerns and abnormal findings. Obtain medical histories and perform physical assessments including blood pressure, weight, and AIMS testing; provide health screening as needed. Administer injectable medications as ordered. Provide educational groups and one?on?one teaching to residents about psychotropic medications and health issues. Participate in reviews and modifications of residents services during treatment planning. Supervise medication delivery using pre?packaged systems or weekly pill?minders; assist with Patient Assistance Programs; oversee documentation in the Medication Administration Record (MAR). Assist with employee health records, including annual TB testing and Hepatitis?B vaccination. Act as liaison with Emergency Room, physician offices, pharmacies, and Meridian physicians for medication orders and appointments. Complete required clinical documents for review/approval by medical staff. Complete other documentation to ensure accurate and timely client and third?party billing. Qualifications Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing. Indiana licensed Registered Nurse (non?probationary). Two (2) years of substance use/psychiatric nursing experience preferred. Valid drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance. Benefits Health, dental, vision plans. Welcome Bonus $2,500. Merit?Based Compensation Plan.
