As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do: + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. + Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. + Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. + Work closely with store staff and management to address security-related concerns and assist with loss prevention efforts. + Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines. + Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to customers, employees, and visitors as needed. Minimum Requirements: + This is primarily a driving post. + A valid driver license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + A customer service background is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
