Consor is currently seeking an Roadway Design Engineer to be located in our Phoenix, Arizona office. You will collaborate with a talented group of professionals in an open and friendly work environment, where personal and professional growth is supported and hard work is rewarded. In this position you will assist in delivering transportation planning, design, and construction services projects.

Salary - $80,000 to $110,000 a year

What You'll Do:

:

You will enjoy a wide variety of interesting assignments, including:

  • Performs work that involves conventional types of plans, methods, and solutions with moderately complex features
  • Performs basic engineering analysis, design, and detailing of project plans and construction material quantities
  • Uses computer-aided design and drafting systems to prepare working plans and detailed drawings
  • Makes or revises maps, charts, and diagrams
  • Inspects a variety of roadway, bridge, and water resources construction projects; assists in the preparation of construction progress reports and estimates
  • Uses computer programs to facilitate organization and accuracy of engineering calculations

What You'll Need:

:
  • Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university
  • Arizona PE
  • Self-starter/takes initiative
  • Positive attitude/team player/able to accept constructive feedback
  • Valid drivers license and insurable driving record

Get to Know Us:

:
  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of previous transportation-related design experience
  • Successful elective coursework focusing on roadway design
  • Experience/proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads, OpenRoads, Civil 3D, and/or AutoCad
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and/or BlueBeam Revu
