Title: Equipment Engineer roleLocation: 47540 Kato Rd Fremont California 94538Duration: 6+months contract RESPONSIBILITIES•Develop and implement automotive assembly equipment and tools•Identify the manufacturing design opportunities by aligning with teams on proposed process changes and improvements•Manage manufacturing partners that support us with the assembly line development (design, automation, fixtures, workstations, etc.)•Continuous update of assembly line layout drawings•Work with equipment suppliers (internal and external) to solve ergonomic and assembly issues•Troubleshoot tooling-related issues•Develop equipment PMs and ensure their completion QUALIFICATIONS•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience•3+ years of experience in a manufacturing process engineer or equipment engineer role•Experience with developing automation specifications, tooling and fixture design, adhesive and dispensing technologies, and lift assists/industrial manipulators•Experience with Delmia, Catia, Solidworks, and AutoCAD•ble to work independently with minimal supervisionEEO: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.Cell phones are not allowed at the client site, shooting of photos and/or videos are strictly prohibited while inside the client facility.
