Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician The maintenance technician will join the powertrain team to achieve key results and goals. They should have a strong understanding of troubleshooting preventive maintenance and electrical systems. The role involves developing strategies to meet team and company objectives, maintaining machinery and equipment, and ensuring efficient operations. The technician will report to supervisors and managers within the production organization. Shifts: Shift A: Sunday - Tuesday 5am-3:30pm; Wednesday 5am-11:30am. Shift B: Wednesday 11:00am - 5:30 pm; Thursday - Friday 5:00 am - 5:30 pm; Saturday 5:00 am - 3:30 pm. Shift C: Sunday - Wednesday 5:00 pm - 5:30 am. Responsibilities: Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly. Ensure building systems operate efficiently. Inspect drives, motors, and belts, and check fluid levels and replace filters. Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems, and plumbing, machinery, and equipment. Record the type and cost of maintenance or repair work. Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Dismantle devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools. Essential Skills: 8 to 10 years of experience in maintenance technician roles. High school diploma or GED. Proficiency in PLC troubleshooting, automation, preventive maintenance, and pneumatics. Electromechanical troubleshooting of shafts, motors, chains, conveyor systems, and PLC systems. Troubleshooting robots and automated equipment. Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic control systems, including operation of cylinders and valves. Ability to use multimeters and other diagnostic tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Understanding of electrical control systems. Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting abilities for robots and automation equipment. Familiarity with shafts, motors, chains, and conveyor-related equipment. Knowledge of PLC logic controls such as Rockwell and Siemens. Understanding of occupational hazards and safety precautions. Ability to operate mobile equipment including forklifts and powered industrial trucks. Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record. Why Work Here? There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds. Work typically involves 40-48 hours per week across 4 days, contributing to a team-focused, family-oriented, and collaborative culture. Location: This is a fully onsite position in Casa Grande, AZ 85193. Job Type: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Casa Grande, AZ 85193. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
