The Role
The Retail Promotional Inventory & Planning Specialist role is responsible for the coordination, support, and activation of the retail plan. The role is to ensure that promotional events are delivered in line with the retail promotional calendar and coordinated with key stakeholders to ensure critical timelines are delivered.
The role forms part of a team of specialists who focus on the management of tools and processes to ensure seamless execution of retail campaigns, product presentation and inventory opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
Deliver merchandising promotional offers within the critical path to ensure strong campaign execution to the network.
Support Merchandise Offer coordination, education and working collaboratively to engage the relevant stakeholders to deliver in line with the retail marketing calendar.
Identify and provide solutions to drive add on, solution selling and drive basket/unit or own Brands growth opportunities.
Support the inventory and offer to drive product and proposition initiatives to achieve business results.
Provide key insights, opportunities, and solutions for retail improvements to key stakeholders using and data trends.
Provide support and national guidelines for the locally managed events (e.g., store opening events) etc as required.
Provide operational support to the Retail Leadership Team and key stakeholders to deliver business improvement.
About You:
Internal communications or marketing communications experience desirable
Sound understanding of retail operations would be seen as a distinct advantage
Ability to deliver exceptional customer service experience
Sound project management and coordination skills
Strong computer skills, including creating templates
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent time management skills- ability to stick to deadlines
