We are currently looking for an IBM MQ | WAS Administrator to reinforce our team working on the migration of theenvironments from our main client in banking sector to the Cloud. This personwill also work on different projects for our Managed Services Business Unit.
YourMission:
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere (WAS), RedHat, Ansible, scripting and related technologies.
Knowledge on following technologies is a plus but not mandatory: autosys, kafka, splunk, jenkins.
Respond promptly to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide effective resolutions.
Implement preventive measures to minimize the occurrence of incidents.
Automation:
Utilize Ansible for automation and configuration management to streamline routine tasks.
Implement and improve automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders in both French and English.
Yourprofile:
Experience:
5 to 8 years of proven experience in Linux system administration.
Strong background in support, and application components.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere (WAS), RedHat, Ansible, and related technologies.
Experience in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
Communication Skills:
Fluent in both French and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential system issues.
Team Player:
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to mentor junior team members and share knowledge.
