Optimal Field Services, a Crest Industries company, is looking to add an experienced Sr. Accountant to our team. The Sr. Accountant’s primary responsibility is to assist leadership in better understanding the overall financial health of Optimal Field Services. This position is accountable for month-end close and providing accurate financial reports to Optimal Field Services and its parent company. The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls as well as managing the day-to-day operations of accounting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: ·

Viewed as the subject matter financial expert in the business unit. ·

Complete month-end closing within 5 business days and provide accurate and timely financial statements. ·

Establish internal controls for accuracy and efficiency. ·

Oversee Cap-ex depreciation and amortization. ·

Work with Optimal management and operations personnel to provide accurate annual and quarterly budgets and 5-year projections. ·

Create and analyze financial reports and metrics for Optimal Field Services BRT meetings. ·

Set up new vendors in accounting system. ·

Prepare & manage reports in relation to diverse spending, as requested by clients. ·

Prepare weekly G40 Utilization Report, and monthly recap, and send to Optimal Field Services Leadership team. ·

Submit sales and use tax payments as required by taxation authorities. ·

Issue sales tax exemption certs for certain client vendors. ·

Perform LA and TX Property Tax Assessment. ·

Perform accruals for fixed-fee projects in accordance with internal procedures. ·

Manage company asset list, including adding to and disposing of assets. ·

Apply and report daily customer payments. ·

Compile and submit yearly tax audit reports as required contractually. ·

Compile and report totals as related to OCIP manhours, as requested by parent company for audit purposes. ·

Record weekly Per Diem payments. ·

Annually submit AP, AR, Sales Reports and other information as requested to Auditors. ·

Provide assistance to both the accounting and purchasing personnel for any matters related to coding and/or taxation, as needed. ·

Responsible for all cost allocations to different Company Product Families. ·

Perform monthly ZBA bank account reconciliation. ·

File 1099’s annually. ·

Complete Government Census Reports annually. ·

Perform the AP check-run and cash requirements on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of every month. ·

Assist with Concur expense reporting, including training new users and approving monthly coding. ·

Assist Optimal Field Services Leadership team in understanding how to manage balance sheet and cash flow. ·

Identify business risks and recommend methods to mitigate threats. ·

Perform trend analysis and inform management of positive or negative findings. REQUIREMENTS: ·

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required. ·

Five plus years of progressive accounting experience is required. ·

Experience with ERP systems is required. ·

Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel are required. ·

Must have excellent written and communication skills at all levels of the company. ·
