pplication Support Specialist/GeneralPosition Summary:

In this challenging position, the Application Support Specialist will be part of a larger team that takes ownership of the implementation, support, security, documentation, disaster recovery and maintenance of all firm software applications. The successful candidate will be experienced with application lifecycle management, data and application migrations, security, troubleshooting, error resolution and software installations and upgrades within on premise, hosted and cloud environments, In addition, this candidate will possess a high level of technical skills, the ability to manage projects, timelines, vendors and third party consultants. This candidate must enjoy staying abreast of new technologies, be able to take initiative and work outside of their comfort zone and have a passion for providing the best service to end users.

General Responsibilities:

cts as the Subject Matter Expert for the firm's software applicationsUnderstands end user requirements and provides guidance on software solutionsCoordinates, documents and manages software installations, configurations and upgradesVerifies backups, disaster recovery procedures, and business continuity plansRemediates all security related issues identified and proactively applies to future implementationsMust be able to identify and implement resolutions for identified and reported security vulnerabilities while adhering to change control protocolMaintains technical and business documentation for the firm's software applicationsPrioritizes, identifies, researches and resolves technical problems and coordinates vendor support where necessary. This includes implementing a solution to prevent future occurrencesLooks for areas of opportunity to improve business efficienciesProvides after hours rolling on call supportbility to work alone or in a team environmentQualifications:

Minimum one year experience in an Application Support roleIntermediate level of SQL knowledge (CRUD operations)Proven record of installing and upgrading enterprise softwareExperience migrating on premise software solutions to cloud and SaaSUnderstand hardware requirements, write technical specifications and documentationExperience with Root-Cause and Logical analysisProficient understanding and troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint)bility to multitask and bring assigned tasks to completion on timeBasic Scripting Knowledge using PowerShell, Python, VBAExperience with Microsoft PowerApps, Power Automate, SSIS, Boomi and Sharepoint a plusSoftware Development and Cloud experience a plusPrior experience in legal or professional services preferred
