Counter Sales

The counter sales position will increase sales and customer satisfaction by efficiently and courteously assisting customers in the selection and purchase of needed products. This position will require travel to multiple Leeps locations to provide staffing support at the sales counter, as needed. Leeps Customer Service Experience Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, or add-on sales strategies, increasing line items per ticket Use electronic and published catalogs to provide product, pricing and availability information to customer Handle customer service issues and returns in a professional manner Follow company guidelines for sales, operations, pricing, and credit Light warehouse duties including deliveries, as needed Stay current on product lines and exhibit technical expertise Demonstrate understanding and application of effective sales strategies and techniques Exhibit professionalism with phone and electronic communications Conduct basic inventory counts, warehousing, and stocking procedures Perform other duties as assigned by manager Work Experience and Competencies: Effective listening and good phone skills Able to handle difficult customers with diplomacy and tact Team player who works productively with wide range of people Comfortable in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Stand/work for duration of work hours Lift/carry/maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 50 lbs); occasionally lift in excess of 100Ibs Valid driver’s license Education: High school diploma/GED required Experience: Minimum 2 years in similar position preferred
