We are seeking a Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Trauma Surgery in Ohio. Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner Trauma Surgery Position Type: Specialty: Physician - Surgery Trauma Location: Ohio Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: 12-hour (7p 7a) and 24-hour (7a 7a) shifts Start Date: July 2, 2025 End Date: August 29, 2025 Position Details: Patient Population: Approx. 5% pediatric, 35% adult, 60% geriatric Setting: Inpatient hospital Trauma Surgery Responsibilities: Daily rounding, consults, admits, trauma alerts, ER admissions, discharges, and house codes Required Procedures: Suturing minor lacerations FAST exams Trauma alert response Surgical consults ER admissions Rapid response participation EMR System: Epic Support Staff: Trauma attending on-call and reachable within 15 minutes Days Per Month: Based on availability must list specific dates On-Call/Weekends: Yes includes weekend 24-hour coverage Submission Requirements: Board Certified (ANCC or AANP) Required Active OH license and DEA Required (no exceptions) BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications Required Prior trauma experience Required (no new grads) Must list availability for each date at submission Required Join us today
