What This Position Is All About: We are looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and team-focused Keyholder . A driven and aspiring leader, focused on driving sales by building the Saks OFF 5TH clienteling experience and exceeding customer expectations. As the keeper of keys, you will partner with associates to own merchandise recovery and replenishment, open and close the store, and play a vital role in maintaining our reputation as the premier luxury-value destination. Who Are You: Aspiring leader who can educate, drive results, and maintain high standards Entrepreneurial individual with competitive drive and confidence to succeed Customer champion who provides a personalized shopping experience Confident and professional communicator Energetic sales professional who can easily adapt to changes and can be relied upon to consistently deliver exceptional results with little to no guidance Passionate and enthusiastic fashion expert with an outstanding work ethic Natural problem-solver who contributes to a collaborative work environment that encourages creative thinking and innovation You Also Have: High school diploma or equivalent 3 – 5 years of experience in a retail, customer service, or sales environment; keyholder or supervisor experience preferred Basic computer proficiency Proven sales track record and results driven approach Proven time management skills and comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting priorities Demonstrated ability to deliver a high standard of customer service and build exceptional customer relationships Thorough knowledge of the fashion industry and a passion for sharing your expertise Ability to act promptly in routine situations and see a clear plan of action to a positive result in the customer’s eyes Ability to operate equipment such as radios, POS register, ticket scanners, and sensor removers Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays As The Keyholder, You Will: Focus on the customer experience by taking personal accountability to anticipate needs and exceed our customers’ expectations Maintain up-to-date knowledge of promotions, merchandise, and customer service policies Be cross-trained in store functions and provide coaching to associates Be responsible for opening and closing the store, managing bank deposits, balancing point of sale drawers and safe, and maintaining the physical security of the building Collaborate with store management to organize marketing and promotional campaigns, and coordinate staff schedules and activities Resolve customer issues through aligning to the core values of trust, integrity, and respect Build rapport with customers and team, resulting in repeat customers and engaged associates Maintain sales-floor standards, including replenishment and presentation, general appearance and cleanliness of the department Participate and support in training for new company programs, procedures, and technologies Consistently model and coach the selling behaviors to meet or exceed key performance indicators Adhere to Asset Protection control and compliance procedures; maintain knowledge of all Health and Safety protocols and Emergency procedures to ensure the safety of our associates and customers alike Efficiently complete tasks or special projects assigned by store leadership Compensation The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $18.00 and $18.50 p/hour ; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits), dependent on the position offered.
