We’re a growing Tampa Bay accounting firm and are seeking a tax manager to grow along with us. Primary duties include supervising and reviewing the work of tax staff, communicating and meeting with clients regarding their tax planning needs, and managing internal resources within the firm. Our work has a heavy emphasis on the corporate side, but also includes individuals and partnerships, both at the federal and state levels.

Ideal candidate is someone with a great personality…also must be compatible with ex-Big 4 alumni who have found a home at our boutique firm. Our office is laid-back, but dead serious about producing high quality tax products and excellent service to our clients Desired Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in tax preparation, preferably in public accounting Bachelor's degree in accounting CPA required Management experience – will be expected to manage, assist and coach junior staff High level of written, oral and interpersonal communication skills Self-starter – candidate is expected to serve as the main point of contact with clients and maintain a solid client relationship without direct supervision Highly organized - candidate is expected to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines Must be detail oriented and analytical Must be willing to be part of a team and a desire to help others Salary commensurate with experience

This position is full time with additional hours required during peak times such as year end and tax seasons.
