As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales and Marketing to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.Position Overview: The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will play a critical role in developing and executing the company's sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management, relationship building, and business development within the heavy-duty trailer manufacturing sectorSales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence.Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the sales team, including setting clear objectives, coaching, and mentoring to drive performance.Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive threats.Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, product segments, and strategic partnerships.Sales Performance Management: Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze data, and implement strategies to improve sales effectiveness and efficiency.Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage the sales department budget, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and resource allocation.Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the sales organization, implementing best practices, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.Ability to travel as neededBachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the heavy-duty trailer manufacturing industry or related field.Proven track record of achieving sales targets, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share.Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans.Experience in new business development, including prospecting, lead generation, and deal negotiation.Proficiency in sales management tools and CRM software.Strong business acumen with the ability to understand financial metrics, budgets, and forecasting.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
