Join us, and you'll feel empowered to be who you are and unlock your potential, in a place where we trust and respect one another and celebrate our differences.What's possible?Your challenge will be to lead the overall Global Trade Compliance curriculum for Nufarm North Americas with a strong emphasis on import/export operations. Indeed, we'll rely on you to have close collaboration with Regulatory, Commercial and Supply Chain teams to deliver excellence in customer service at the lowest landed cost while acting as the NA interface to Nufarm regional functions and external logistics service providers. In order to achieve that, you'll need split between day-to-day operational oversight and driving the NA strategic vision. As well as primarily focusing on compliance program oversight, leadership on strategic projects and solution-oriented problem solving. And, when it comes driving departmental efficiencies and enabling company growth; again, we'll count on you.Other key responsibilities will include:Day-to-day operations* Oversee the Global Trade Compliance function within the region* Deliver budget expectations for GTC function* Evaluate all import transportation and assist in clearance of all invoices for payment* Oversee the development of provider scorecards (KPI's) and lead monthly/quarterly business reviews* Partner with Supply Chain and Commercial teams to ensure the business priorities are delivered* Ensure all Logistics operations are in full compliance to relevant Nufarm and country legal standards regarding health, safety, environmental, dangerous goods management, and DOT regulations.* Represent and respond to inquiries from Customs and other government agencies w/ Regulatory* Help ensure that the importation and exportation of goods complies with applicable government laws and regulations.* Administer delivery of all cargo and process all custom releases and monitor all receivables and ensure work within required timeframe* Evaluate and process import documents for various accounts for ACE portal system and obtain all custom releases and invoices for all import accounts* Establish total landed cost related to new business opportunitiesWhat you'll need to bringAs well as relevant tertiary qualifications and awareness of all facets of trade compliance, you'll need a proven track record that ideally incudes management level experience.
