**Description**

Oakwood Village has an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to join our University Woods (West Side of Madison) senior living community team as a **Food Server.** TAs a food server, you are responsible for the pleasant meal service to residents and visitors and for cleanup/sanitation of kitchen equipment and general kitchen area.

***WE CAN TRAIN YOU***

* Flexible Scheduling: Part-time and Full-time, days/nights till 7PM and weekends.

* Great pay starting at plus an additional $0.75 for hours worked after 3PM and weekends.

* Paid Time Off for staff working 37.5 or more hours every two weeks

***Job Responsibilities:*** (Not intended to be an all-inclusive list)

* Responsible for prompt and courteous service to all guests.

* Serving dinner to residents, staff, and visitors according to menu.

* Responsible for checking assignment board for posting of evening table assignments.

* Working in dish room as assigned and proper storage of clean dishes.

* Responsible for pre-meal preparation of folding napkins and presetting of tables.

* Bussing tables as assigned for proper cleanup of dirty dishes.

* Proper reset of dining room for next day service.

* Restock of condiments on tables.

* Maintaining clean and sanitized areas: Work stations, resident dining room, and dish and pots/pans areas.

* Proper labeling and storage of food in workstation areas.

* Responsible for assigned cleaning duties, when guests have left the dining room.

* Responsible for communicating with Dining Room Coordinator for any cleanup or setup of any catering needs.

* Ability to plan, organizes, and prioritize work load.

* Ability to communicate effectively with the residents.
