We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsThe CT Technologistperforms routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application ofionizingradiationin accordance withthe established professional and departmental standards.The CT Techprovides high-qualitycomputerized tomography images ofthe used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.We are an amazing team, that works hard to support each other and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you, who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.What you will do in this role: You will compassionatelyassistand positionpatientson CT table.You will start IVs for contrast injectionwhen necessary.You will assess image quality andmake adjustmentswhen necessary.You will releasecustomerwith proper post procedure instructions.You will turn over and prepareroomusing aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Whatqualificationsyouwillneed:Completion of an accredited program by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP), American Medical Association (AMA) or other accrediting agencies.Registered with the ARRT; Computerized Tomography Registry required within6 months of hireBCLSrequiredwithin30 daysofstart date.Minimum 1 year experience in CT preferredOn Call Required and must have the ability to report tot he facilitywithin 30 minutes ofcallback.Belton Regional Medical Center is an 80+ bed acute care facility.
