About the Job
We are hiring inquisitive, passionate individuals to join our growing Sustainability and Energy Analytics (SEA) team which resides within our larger North American Professional Services team.
Our team is comprised of dedicated consultants and industry experts passionate about delivering market leading services and fully invested in our clients enduring success. Our SEA team leverages data from assets primarily Commercial Real Estate (CRE) properties and portfolios - and uses advanced analytics systems to drive energy and cost savings.
What you will do
Familiarize yourself with GRESB, LEED, BOMA BEST, Energy Star, and Zero Carbon Building programs to support our clients with their sustainability and certification initiatives.
Contribute to projects for multiple clients across several asset cases, including managers and operators of large Commercial Real Estate portfolios spanning Canada, United States, and an increasingly global presence
Support the delivery of comprehensive client reports outlining energy, cost, and carbon reduction measures.
Become a contributing member of project teams, dedicated to performing intensive and continuous evaluations of asset performance
Be involved in highly technical and unique client projects dedicated to investigating and determining the performance gains, and cost benefit of making capital investments across a building or portfolio of properties.
Gain valuable exposure to sub-metering system design, real-time metering data analytics technologies and utility cost allocation and recovery practices.
Requirements:

What you need
BA/BS
1+ year of work experience within energy management or sustainability fields. New graduates will be given consideration for the role if able to demonstrate highly valued co-op / internship experience within the energy management and/or sustainability fields with a focus on the built environment.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding organizational and task management skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills paired with high energy and enthusiastic attitude
