Summary:

The Quality Manager Will implement, maintain, and continuously improve the companys quality tools, techniques, and systems.

The Quality Manager should have the following skill set:

5 years in quality management in a distribution or manufacturing environment is required.

Able to work ON SITE at our Burlington NJ warehouse location.

Willing to work a flexible schedule, covering 2nd and 3rd shifts as required.

Strong knowledge of quality methodologies, tools, and processes is required.

Prior experience in managing a quality team is required.

Bachelors degree required in Quality Management, or a related field is preferred. Masters degree a plus.

Relevant certification e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Engineer is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

The Quality Manager will:

Develop an incoming quality system to monitor the quality of products to specified standards on their arrival.

Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured process audit plans.

Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate team audit activities.

Investigate the causes of non-conforming products and perform root cause analysis to work with operations to implement solutions.

Collaborate with the relevant departments to develop and implement controls and improvements and develop supplier quality standards.

Track quality assurance metrics.

Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvement action plans.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise a team of Quality Assurance Specialists and Technicians.
