Location: Remote work - Travel requires few times a month to Whitehouse Station, NJ or Philadelphia
Duration: 3 months Right to Hire

We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced .NET Developer in either our Whitehouse Station, NJ or Philadelphia, PA office. On our team, you'll partner with Business Analysts and our Actuarial teams to design, develop, and maintain front end applications, interfaces, websites, and services that enable our actuaries to conduct analytics that influence business decisions on a daily basis. To do so, you'll work with a tech stack inclusive of Microsoft ASP.NET and VB.NET.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain ASP.Net Web Sites and Windows Services using Visual Studio
Analyze existing applications to improve efficiency and reliability
Conduct system testing and provide support during user acceptance testing
Ensure the best possible performance and maintain the quality and responsiveness of applications
Deliver quality solutions on time and within budget, following SDLC best practices in the documentation of design specifications and unit test plans
Provide on-call production support monthly during the book-close period

Qualifications
4+ years ASP.Net Experience, including both Web Sites and Windows Services
Experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle is a plus
Experience with DevOps and GIT
Experience with Agile methodologies, prioritizing backlog, etc. a plus.
Capability to work on concerns raised by the customer
Enthusiastic about work and code quality
Extensive technical analysis and investigative capabilities
Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
Learning mindset and team player
Comfortable interfacing with end users
Result/Solution-Oriented individual who can work/learn in a fast-paced environment
Actuarial reserving experience or experience developing actuarial applications in the insurance industry are a plus
