Role Overview:

As a Security Engineer, you will play a vital role in protecting our client's assets, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement robust security solutions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to safeguard critical assets and information. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate security risks and threats. Design and deploy security controls and technologies to protect networks, systems, and applications. Monitor security events and incidents, investigate and respond to security breaches and intrusions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the security of cloud-based environments and applications. Stay abreast of emerging threats and security trends, providing proactive recommendations and solutions. Participate in security audits, assessments, and compliance initiatives to maintain regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. 5+ year as a Security Engineer or in a similar role Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption, and endpoint security. Experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, and vulnerability management solutions. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
