Job Purpose
The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented chemical engineering graduates with a desire to succeed and a willingness to learn. You will be provided with a mentor to train you in the finer aspects of process safety and risk management, and to further develop your engineering skills. Upon developing the necessary skills, you will be working as a key member of our team executing projects for the world's largest production companies.
As a Chemical Engineer Analyst, your role typically involves analyzing various chemical processes, materials, and data to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in industrial settings. You may work in diverse fields such as pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, environmental engineering, or food processing. Your responsibilities might include:
Evaluating and designing pressure relief systems
Developing detailed safety and risk management design documentation
Delivering high-quality technical evaluations
Process Analysis: Examining chemical processes to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Data Interpretation: Analyzing data from experiments, simulations, or production processes to draw conclusions and make recommendations for process improvements.
Quality Control: Developing and implementing quality control procedures to maintain consistent product quality and compliance with regulatory standards.
Research and Development: Contributing to R&D efforts to innovate new products or processes, from initial concept through pilot testing to full-scale production.
Environmental Compliance: Ensuring that chemical processes and products meet environmental regulations, addressing issues like waste minimization and emissions control.
Safety Assurance: Identifying and mitigating potential hazards associated with chemical processes, ensuring a safe working environment for personnel.
Technical Documentation: Writing technical reports, manuals, and documentation to communicate findings, procedures, and specifications.
Your work requires a strong foundation in chemistry, engineering principles, and analytical techniques. Effective communication skills are also essential for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting findings to stakeholders.
