You can help them identify and help fix the issues they are having. Work with the tooling companies to help find solutions and then run the tests to prove them out. Get to be in the know of the new tools coming out and also be able to try them. This is a rewarding position that will have you wanting to go to work every day. The ideal candidate loves talking to people and proactively solving issues. You will be responsible for converting customers into passionate evangelists Support production with their use of high precision cutting tools such as drills, reamers, taps, mills, etc Coordinate projects and communicate findings. Some examples are: Develop, test, and implement tool improvements to yield cost savings for end user Lead collaborative meetings with customer Work closely with customer engineering department to support tooling suggestions and alterations Review all premature tooling and perform root cause analysis following 5Y/8D principles Drive scrap reduction and improve machining up-time for customer EGC offers a variety of wellness programs, flexible work hours and family-friendly benefits to all our employees to include, but not limited to: Retirement Plans Life/Disability Coverage Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage Paid time off Paid Maternity Leave Gym Reimbursement
