Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join their team in Morristown, Indiana The selected candidate will lead facility projects schedule development for our client. Associated work will include managing project schedules for all project activities, including Project Execution, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Risk, Information Management, Health-Safety-Environment, Quality, Staffing, and Operations.

Duties:

  • Responsible for development of project life cycle schedules through full integration of pre-FID engineering, detail engineering, procurement and field executable construction schedules working together with PM, Procurement, and PMO
  • Develop project planning and control mechanism considering business needs and highlighting all critical milestones
  • Update and align project codes, activity codes and WBS
  • Coordinate week to week activities updates as aligned with the project engineering and construction team
  • Provide assurance on schedules submitted by contractors
  • Analyze schedule logic, activity durations, constraints, float, resource loading, critical path(s) and leveling resources as needed to support project constraints
  • Produce schedule deliverables package appropriate for the project stage gate
  • Analyze and provide report on engineering contractor meeting baseline deadlines
  • Produce project management reports that effectively communicate project performance, concern, and other indicators of schedule performance
  • Participate in schedule risk workshops to establish schedule contingency
  • Apply, monitor, and report schedule float and critical path
  • Monitor and record approved schedule changes
  • Manage stage gate baselines
  • Support in resource planning and allocation during project execution & construction phase
  • Provide regular updates on project planning control to the database platform and support key KPIs presentation to Leadership team
  • Conduct meetings with various stakeholders to align on project planning considering all limitations and constraints

Desired Skills/Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience developing project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Projects for capital projects through entire project life cycle
  • Expertise in project status monitoring, analyzing critical milestones, generate early warning mechanism and support schedule expedition
  • Ability to provide oversight in schedule control on all assigned projects
  • Experience analyzing project schedule risks throughout the project
  • Demonstrated leadership skills including building and motivating teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency with applicable computer software packages
  • Exceptional verbal, written, listening and presentation communication skills
  • Strong work ethic with excellent interpersonal skills
