About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to manage its fiscal budgeting, business plans, and financial accounts and operations. The CFO will be responsible for applying accounting principles to analyze financial operations, prepare budgets, and advise the executive team on resource management. This role involves managing the development of business plans and contracts, keeping records of financial transactions, overseeing cash flow, and ensuring all expenditures are approved. The CFO will also be involved in strategic planning, annual financial audits, and will assist with special projects as needed.Candidates for the CFO position should have a Master's degree in a relevant field, with a CPA being preferred but not required. Experience with QuickBooks Pro and nonprofit financial accounting is also preferred. The role requires a strong knowledge of GAAP, financial guidelines, and terminology, as well as excellent planning, organizational, and interpersonal skills. The CFO must be proficient in the use of personal computer software and databases, and be able to analyze and interpret financial data with a high level of accuracy. The ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and integrate budgeting and financial functions with management techniques is essential.
