Data Courier Trillium Construction is now hiring for the unique role of Data Courier in Baton Rouge, LA Part time role - 40+ hours a week. Paying $28/hour + gas stipend ($200+/day) Below outlines the services required of the Data Courier to support the field operation of robotic fleet assets. This position will work on a daily to semi-daily basis, under the direction of the Operations team and may be dispatched to field sites as needed. This role requires a unique combination of computer use, written reporting, punctuality and assertive and safe driving. 2. Scope of Work -This position shall perform the following tasks as directed by the Company: 2.1 Field Data Service & Inspections -Travel to remote job sites to perform data removal on fleet assets. -Perform cleaning of sensors and robotic equipment. -Conduct physical and electronic inspections of robotics platforms and heavy machinery. -Complete standardized inspection checklists with accuracy and completeness. 2.2 Reporting & Communication -Accurately document activities in company fleet systems. -Report findings to his Manager with clear, concise, factual technical communication. 2.3 Travel, Vehicle & Scheduling -This position must be available for long-distance day and/or night travel (200+ miles) with a personal vehicle. -The personal vehicle must be capable of driving off-pavement and in construction zones. -Flexibility is required to adjust to varying equipment deployment and service schedules, including early mornings or weekends when necessary. 3. Deliverables The following outputs are expected from the position: -Data offloading daily per machine as outlined in this statement of work. This will require laptop connections, cleaning procedures, and climbing off and on the machinery as required. -Completed inspection checklists for each asset serviced. -Service logs and reports submitted within 12 hours of task completion. -Performing the necessary ticketing and information upkeep in fleet management software. -Visiting data center for data uploading. -Weekly availability reports or check-ins as requested. -Accurate timekeeping documentation. 4. Position Qualifications -Required Skills & Experience -Demonstrated experience and strong interest in computers, robotics, and technology. -Ability to read technical procedures. -Field-capable and comfortable working in rugged, outdoor, or dirty conditions. -Excellent attention to detail and the ability to notice small discrepancies. -Clear written and verbal communication skills. -Adaptable to changing requirements and high ambiguity environments. -Ability to interface with operations teams and explain findings in non-technical language as needed. -Must pass pre-employment screenings Must possess transportation capable of traversing all road conditions (will require offroad driving on construction sites to access machines to perform work.) 5. Work Location -Remote position, construction sites, from car and machinery. -Field-based at customer or project job sites across the assigned city. -Some driving may exceed 200 miles/day.
