Position Summary This is the highest role in IT, accountable for IT throughout the organization. The Director of IT is responsible for the delivery of all IT infrastructure and related IT operations used to enable business capabilities and services across the enterprise. The Director of IT brings current knowledge and future vision for transforming the ITs function including its strategy, service offerings and workforce. The role holder is a senior stakeholder in all relationships with externally sourced infrastructure and operations capabilities. As a key member of the IT leadership team this role contributes to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and is responsible for ensuring I&O strategy is fully aligned, positioning IT to deliver compelling business value.

Primary Responsibilities Collaborates with the CFO and organizational heads to set the mission, vision, and strategy of the IT organization to maximize the success of business, enterprise IT initiatives, and ongoing M&A integrations – by leading with cloud-first, scalable, MSP-driven execution. Hands on leader (player/coach) driving the plan working side-by-side with multiple MSPs, checking their work, maintaining accountability, assisting when and where necessary, and driving performance optimization, including, but not limited to, the following: IT Delivery Management : Manage and coordinate IT delivery through vendors and IT contracts, ensuring efficient and effective implementation of technology solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide technical guidance to achieve organizational goals. Monitor vendor performance and manage vendor relationships to ensure compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations. Manage data and digital voice platforms including required integrations. Multi-branch, Multiple Location IT Environment : Oversee the IT infrastructure across multiple branches and locations, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance. Develop and implement standardized IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency in IT operations across all locations. Identify and mitigate potential IT risks and security threats across the organization. Team Management : Ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals in a matrix reporting structure, providing mentorship, guidance, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting professional growth and development within the team. Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely completion of projects and deliverables. Budgeting and Financial Management : Assist in the development and management of the IT department's budget, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources. Monitor IT expenses, track financial performance, and provide regular reports to senior management. Identify opportunities for cost savings and optimization in IT infrastructure and operations. IT Governance and Compliance : Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations, standards, and policies. Develop and implement IT governance frameworks and processes to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity. Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. Hosted and Cloud Platforms/SaaS Vendor Applications : Possess a strong understanding of hosted and cloud platforms, as well as SaaS vendor applications. Evaluate and recommend appropriate hosted and cloud solutions to meet the organization's evolving needs. Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to implement and integrate SaaS applications effectively. Drive multiple integrations of acquired companies with disparate systems and IT architectures onto a common Galleher platform, that you help architect and build from the ground up. Collaborates with the V-CISO to ensure IT security and compliance, configuring cloud applications, firewall appliances, software, user privileges, VPNs, etc. for security. Install, maintain and support production, DR, and testing data centers and networks in line with PA-DSS / PCI Standards on both private cloud public cloud infrastructure. Manage network security tools, e.g., firewall, anti-virus and intrusion detection systems. Monitor and enhance performance of all infrastructure including VOIP phones and VC. Lead and Provide responsive and efficient end user support for the company.

Job Requirements Education Bachelor’s or master's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, related field or equivalent work experience Experience Eight or more years of experience in IT or business/industry Three or more years of leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting and staffing and/or vendor management. Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex, dynamic environments where agile was applied at scale.

Knowledge/Skills Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to develop and communicate an I&O vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns with the IT and business strategy Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources required for success may not be in direct control of this role Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units Ability to build consensus, making decisions based on many variables, and gain support for major initiatives. Strong sense of self, ethics and effort, as well as the willingness to go the extra mile to achieve important goals. Ability to develop staff including coaching, mentoring and performance management Expertise in budget planning and financial management, preferably with showback and/or chargeback models Deep understanding of current and emerging I&O technologies and practices, and how other enterprises are employing them Knowledgeable in how to apply I&O capabilities to achieve regulatory or statutory compliance requirements. Knowledge of DevOps, as well as other working practices (e.g., ITIL, Agile, 6-Sigma, Lean, etc.).
