Per Diem School Registered Nurse

*Job Summary:*
U.S Medical Staffing is seeking a few Reliable Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Pratical Nurses (LPN) for Per Diem School Shifts in the surrounding areas of Eastern Suffolk, Western Suffolk, and Nassau County for the 2024 - 2025 School year. This would be for Office Coverage, Field Trip Coverage, Overnight & Extended Field trip Coverage, Travel Field Trips, After School Programs, After School Sports, Weekend Games, and 1:1 Substitutes and Summer Camps. We are also looking for LPN's on a Per Diem basis for our Assisted living fascilities in our commack and plainview areas.
*Job Responsibilities are but not limited to:*
* Nurse would be responsible for professional medical treatment of students.
* Maintaining clinical records.
* Dispensing prescriptions medications to students per physician instructions.
* Documenting all Medication given to students.
* Working Diligently along side the other nurses to run a smooth office.
* Providing emergency aid to students and school staff
* Educating students on hygiene and safety practices
* Contacting parents when needed
*Job Requirements:*
* Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Pratical Nurse (LPN)
* NYS Registered Nurse Nursing Registration (RN) or Licensed Pratical Nurse (LPN)
* BCLS or ACLS -The American Heart Association
* Physical (WITHIN ONE YEAR)
* PPD, Chest X-Ray or QuantiFERON Gold TB blood results
* MMR/Titers Lab Report
* Two forms for government ID’s
* Fingerprinted by the DOE
