Job DescriptionSupply Chain Manager BLR Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Manager. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of Purchasing/Procurement/Sourcing experience, preferably in an aerospace or technical industry. Demonstrated skills in managing both internal and external customers, tracking commitments and personal follow-through is essential. Strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills and the ability to represent the company in a professional manner are fundamental requirements. Who are we? BLR Aerospace, located in Everett, Washington, is a leading provider of aerodynamic systems that enhance the productivity, performance and safety of rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft on commercial and military platforms.Job SummaryAs a Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating a successful supply chain for procurement of materials, components, supplies and services that achieve quality, pricing, and on-time service level essential to the successful operation of the business. Building positive working relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, mitigate and resolve risks and issues, optimize inventory levels, and expedite deliveries to resolve shortages. Focus on continuous business improvement strategies is essential, with special focus on major projects and New Product Introductions (NPIs). Identify, qualify, and select suppliers of materials, equipment, products, or services, and conduct overall supplier managementDevelop mutually beneficial supplier working relationshipsNegotiate pricing, contracts, lead-time, delivery dates, and oversee supplier performanceCreate Purchase Orders, Blanket Purchase Orders and/or Master Agreements with suppliers, and engage in all aspects of contract managementEnsure suppliers' performance is consistent with corporate objectives, particularly in quality, on-time delivery, cost management, and inventory turnsMonitor scheduled deliveries, and manage part shortages and expeditesDevelop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costsWork in partnership with Production Control Manager to ensure appropriate inventory levelsEffectively deliver messages and business presentations, reports, and forecasts to Leadership team, customers, vendors, and employees, highlighting key performance indicators, risks and recommendations for improvementWork cross-functionally with Engineering & Manufacturing teams to understand product requirements and identify new supply partners to support both new product development and ongoing productionCollaborate with Quality Assurance on vendor audits, Supplier Scorecards, and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement programs in supply chain quality, delivery and costManage RMA (Return Material Authorization) and RTV (Return to Vendor) processImplement Lean Manufacturing principles to streamline processesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adhering to and improving policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to ensure process transparency, fairness, impartiality, and confidentialitySupport monthly financial closing by completing all transactions and credit card purchases reconciliationPerform monthly reconciliation of Open Purchase Order ReportTravel to vendors and events as requiredAll other related duties as assigned Required Experience and Education Degree in Business preferred3+ years of Purchasing, Procurement, and/or Sourcing experiencePrevious aerospace, medical or automotive experience is a plusExperience with Oracle Customer Resource Management tools and ERP systems is desirableMust be a US CitizenMS Office Suite proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Base Compensation: USD 0.00 - 0.00 Paid SalariedEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled11002 29th Ave W, Bldg C-19Everett, Washington, 98204United States
