We are hiring a Director of Rehabilitation (Therapy) to join our dynamiccare team at Cape Regency Rehab in Centerville, Massachusetts This is asalaried position starting at \$95,000/year. Pay based on experience andinterview. In this department head role, you are responsible for theoverall administration, clinical planning, development, marketing, andoperations of the Rehab program within the facility. You manage anddirect staff in the provision of program services to patients,residents, and clients. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Bachelor?s or master?s,as required for initial professional preparation, in Physical Therapy,Occupational Therapy, and/or Speech/Language Pathology. Currentlicensure by the Board of Allied Health Professions required. Currentmembership in professional organizations at the state and national levelpreferred. Two to four years of clinical experience required; one to twoyears of supervisory experience with multi-disciplines preferred. DUTIES& RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensures that the quality and appropriateness ofpatient care meets or exceeds company and industry standards and ensuresthat all Rehab services are in compliance with state and federal legal,regulatory, accreditation and reimbursement guidelines. Directs andassesses the scheduling of patients/residents for therapy servicesconsidering available treatment hours, staff resources and overall planof care. Participates in team meetings to formulate treatment plans,discuss progress and discharge planning, attends family/care giverconferences as needed or appropriate. Reviews therapist documentationpractices for clarity, conciseness and consistency with patient outcomegoals and payor expectations. Maintains a clinical caseload as needed.Generates and analyzes financial, operational and productivity reportsas required; contributes to the development of the annual operating andcapital budget. Ensures that weekly and monthly statistics, patientoutcome data, and billing logs are accurate, complete and reported in atimely manner. Maintains sufficient staffing by responding to changeswith impact staffing needs; ensure appropriate levels of professionaland paraprofessional staff and maintains the clinical skill levelsneeded for the Program in accordance with budgetary and companyguidelines. Supervises program staff in daily program operations andclinical activities; monitors staff efficiencies and routinely providesfeedback. Continuously promotes interdisciplinary, clinical reasoningskills and best practices within rehabilitation. Initiates thecoordination of program development activities with the Administrator,Director of Nursing, Medical Director and other department directors forthe purpose of introducing new and relevant services for the personsserved and the community. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read,write, speak, and understand the English language. Ability to functioneffectively in multi-faceted systems and to interact effectively withall levels of staff and customers. Must be knowledgeable in the PrivacyRule and ensure all staff comply with facility Privacy Practicespolicies and procedures.
